House LGBT Caucus Congratulates Secretary-Designate Eric Fanning on his Confirmation as Army Secretary
Washington, DC – The Congressional LGBT Equality Caucus today congratulated Army Secretary-Designate Eric Fanning on his historic confirmation as the first openly LGBT head of a branch of the armed forces.
"On behalf of the LGBT Equality Caucus, I congratulate Eric Fanning on his Senate confirmation as Secretary of the Army," said LGBT Equality Caucus Co-Chair Rep. Kyrsten Sinema (AZ-09). "Secretary-Designate Fanning's historic confirmation demonstrates that in America, we value hard work, talent and dedication.
