About the CEC

In the 119th Congress, twelve openly-LGBTQI+ members of the United States House of Representatives help lead the Congressional Equality Caucus—one as Chair and eleven as Co-Chairs. The Equality Caucus Chair and Co-Chairs work together to set the Caucus' agenda for the Congress and fulfill the Caucus' mission to promote equality for all people regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or sex characteristics.
