Equality Caucus Remembers the 49 Lives Stolen at Pulse Nightclub

“Eight years ago at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida, 49 innocent lives were taken in a senseless act of violence that devastated communities across the country, and in particular struck the queer and Latine communities with indescribable grief and heartbreak,” said Rep. Mark Pocan (WI-02), Chair of the Congressional Equality Caucus. “I join my colleagues in the Equality Caucus in remembering those who lost their lives that day. In their memory, we remain committed to working in Congress to end the epidemic of anti-LGBTQI+ violence and standing up to hate in all forms.”
