Congressional Equality Caucus Marks Seven Years Since Pulse Shooting
WASHINGTON, DC - "Today, as we mark seven years since the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando, I join my colleagues in honoring the lives taken that day," said Equality Caucus Chair Mark Pocan (WI-02). "As we continue to celebrate Pride Month, this day of remembrance reminds us of the history of violence our community has faced. We will never forget the lives we lost that day, and we must take thoughtful actions to address the epidemic of anti-LGBTQI+ extremism and violence in our country."
